We’re kicking off the season with an Alumni-Volunteer Spring Opening Day. On Saturday, April 25th, from 9am-4pm.  It is a volunteer project day to physically – and a bit symbolically – prepare camp for programming with those who love camp the most.  Our goal is to engage as many camp alumni as possible – as well as current seasonal staff, Y volunteers, and other friends – as volunteers at camp.  We hope it’s a chance to reconnect with camp and other alumni while completing tasks to prepare and improve camp for our arriving-soon campers!

In addition to the projects at camp, the day will include a full lunch with Hot Dogs/Brats, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Chips, Beverages, and S’Mores for dessert AND the opportunity to mix, mingle, and hike camp to reminisce and see what’s new at the end of the project day. 

All skill levels are welcome! We’ll be completing a number of projects including: 

• Painting Buildings around Camp
• Improving Cabin Entryways
• Clean/Opening Cabins
• Installing accessibility mats at the Waterfront
• Getting Picnic Tables in place
• Trail Cleaning
• And More!
