For those who prefer to connect from home, we offer Virtual Open Houses, which are Zoom meetings where parents can learn more about our summer overnight camps. These informational sessions cover topics such as packing lists, camper schedules, programming, and much more, followed by an open Q&A with our directors.
We’re kicking off the season with an Alumni-Volunteer Spring Opening Day. On Saturday, April 25th, from 9am-4pm. It is a volunteer project day to physically – and a bit symbolically – prepare camp for programming with those who love camp the most. Our goal is to engage as many camp alumni as possible – as well as current seasonal staff, Y volunteers, and other friends – as volunteers at camp. We hope it’s a chance to reconnect with camp and other alumni while completing tasks to prepare and improve camp for our arriving-soon campers!
In addition to the projects at camp, the day will include a full lunch with Hot Dogs/Brats, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Chips, Beverages, and S’Mores for dessert AND the opportunity to mix, mingle, and hike camp to reminisce and see what’s new at the end of the project day.
