Cabins

Our cabins offer a cozy, welcoming community for campers to connect and grow. Each cabin accommodates 12-14 campers, featuring built-in bunks, heating, and electricity. Centrally located, all cabins are within easy walking distance of our recently renovated bathhouses. Each cabin is home to a small group of 8-12 campers and their counselors, creating a close-knit, supportive environment for your child. Campers are encouraged to bring their own pillows, blankets, and linens for the twin-sized beds.

Bathhouses

Camp features two bathhouses, the Mill and the Hollow Stump, both equipped with private showers and restrooms for each cabin village. These facilities were completely renovated in 2018 and are just a short walk from the cabins, ensuring campers have convenient access to modern amenities.

Woodland Lodge

Our Woodland Lodge is the heart of the camp, where campers gather for healthy, family-style meals. Our Food Service Team prepares three nutritious meals and two snacks each day. Meals are served in the Main Lodge or the Outdoor Dining Pavilion. We take care to provide a variety of options, including a fresh salad bar and fruit with every meal. All breakfasts come with milk, juice, yogurt, cereal, and fresh fruit. Lunches and dinners include a fresh salad bar, water and/or juice, sides, and condiments. We are a nut-free camp and can accommodate most special dietary needs—please contact us in advance to discuss any dietary considerations.

The Woodland Lodge seats up to 180 guests, with additional seating available in the Outdoor Dining Pavilion for a relaxed and scenic dining experience.

Jury Family Library

Located inside the Woodland Lodge, the Jury Family Library is a favorite spot for campers who want to unwind with a good book. This cozy retreat is made possible by generous book donations from camper families each year at check-in. It’s a perfect place for quiet reading or reflection during downtime.

Health Office

The Camp Health Center, located within the Woodland Lodge, is staffed by trained health officers who are available 24/7 during each camp session. All medications are securely stored in the Health Center, and our team manages medication administration. We have a physician who reviews our health policies, medical orders, and provides virtual consultations as needed to ensure our campers' health and safety.

Outdoor Dining Pavilion

The Outdoor Dining Pavilion offers additional dining and gathering space just outside the Woodland Lodge. This open-air pavilion is a great place to enjoy a meal, play a game, or meet with friends in a relaxed, natural setting.

Leadership Center

The Leadership Center is our newest addition to the camp, designed to foster leadership and teamwork. This building can accommodate up to 24 individuals and features four bunk rooms with six beds each, along with a spacious central meeting area and a large, covered porch offering beautiful forest views.

The Leadership Center is available for rent for schools, groups, and organizations. For more information, please contact Morgan.

Lakeside Chapel

Just a short walk from the Woodland Lodge, our Lakeside Chapel is one of the most beloved spots at camp. This serene setting is ideal for reflection, group meetings, or even a fun mock rock performance. It’s also a great place to enjoy the beauty of nature or try your hand at fishing!

Sports Court Pavilion

At the heart of main camp is the Sports Court Pavilion, a 4,000 square foot hub for gatherings and activities. It offers the perfect location for dry and shaded games, gatherings, and camper free-choice time.

High Adventure

Our High Adventure area is an exciting hub for thrill-seekers! It includes two zip lines, a three-sided climbing tower, a giant swing, and a high ropes course, offering a variety of challenges for campers of all thrill levels. Please note that some activities have age and weight requirements for safety.

Waterfront

Piper Lake, our 30-acre spring-fed lake, is the centerpiece of outdoor activities at YMCA Camp Timbers. It offers a safe, enclosed swimming area, opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and fishing. All activities are supervised by certified lifeguards, and campers must take a swim test before swimming. For safety, all boaters are required to wear life jackets at all times, and we use a buddy system for swimming.

Campfire Amphitheater

The Campfire Amphitheater is the perfect venue for our iconic Opening and Closing Night Campfires. Surrounded by nature, it seats over 200 people and is the ideal location for songs, skits, and unforgettable moments that create lasting memories for campers.

Upper and Lower Ballfields

The Upper and Lower Ballfields are bustling with a variety of camp activities, including archery, sled tube, and full-size marching field events. It’s the perfect place for friendly competition and all-camp games that bring everyone together.
